I love the year, because I love life.
So in fall, I love fall the most..
in winter, I love winter the most..
in spring, I love spring the most..
and in summer I love summer the most.
But this year I’m really loving fall. Last year fall was weird, because Southern California.. doesn’t really have fall, at least not in the way I’m used to it. So this year I’ve been taking it all in with things like…
a trip to the pumpkin patch. and a corn maze. with real mud.
.
and yesterday, a Halloween party with my Bible study. not that I am in any hurry to get rid of fall whatsoever, but this morning when I went to get my morning pick-me-up and it came in this little bad boy, I suddenly smelled cinnamon and pine and heard jingling everywhere…
…since I’m still all hyped up on song talking, let me tell you that I can’t believe John Mayer’s St. Patrick’s Day never came up. The chorus is:
No way November will see our goodbye
when it comes to December it’s obvious why
No one wants to be alone at Christmas time.
Come January we’re frozen inside
making new resolutions a hundred times
February, won’t you be my Valentine?
and we’ll both be safe til St. Patrick’s Day
I’m not superstitious about much, but I am superstitious about No Way November which for me is the season between November – March 17th. Everything feels different, in ways I cannot explain.
and I’d like to write more buuuut I’m watching A Very Potter Musical and we all know how important that is….
