October Goals

It’s been a LONG TIME since I’ve done monthly goals. I mean, it’s been like… forever.

As I was wading through all the feelings I had this spring/summer, sometimes it felt like a monthly goal was just GET THROUGH THIS. and that’s depressing, and I try to avoid using the internet as a form of self-pity.

To quote Tangled, “it’s like the fog has lifted,” and I am ready to be back on this. I already posted my FINANCIAL goals for October, but these are the other things. I’m weirdly excited about this.

OCTOBER GOALS

  • send 10 letters
  • achieve my financial goals
  • complete Whole30
  • finish reading through Job in the OT
  • declutter the space by my bed
  • read the rest of Penguins and Golden Calves

Do you guys have any goals for this month?

  1. Goal setting makes me happy! I got out of the habit over the summer but making more of an effort now that it’s fall. I like your thought of focusing on decluttering one specific area, it makes it seem so much more manageable than simply ‘declutter’. Good luck with your goals! 🙂

    1. thanks, donna! i used to make big giant unrealistic lists and then i’d feel like crap when i didn’t accomplish any of it. so now i like to keep it real, haha. i also feel like with the days getting shorter, i really need to be intentional about my time, you know?

    1. ha! once i get started i just keep going. last time i sat down to write one and ended up writing 7. two nights of that and boom. i’ll be done. plus i have so many stamps laying around. and stationary. trying to use up all my things. 🙂 good luck with your two… you’ve got this ;D

    1. heck yeah there will be! though i realized that it’s more of like… “it was messy and now it’s not,” because there’s not much room for clutter in that area, haha.

  2. My goals are to do my homework for my Precepts of Daniel class on time, get back into meal planning, and stay on top of our budget. Especially since we have a floater check this month.

      1. It’s an inductive Bible study, apparently it’s been around for a while. It’s more in depth than a “regular” study. I’ve read chapter one of Daniel about twenty times now, it seems and we’ve only had four classes!
