Also my computer is really delayed and I actually thought it had taken a cute picture of me and Hannah. We had just finished listening to a classic song that felt incredibly relevant on this morning. You might remember it (and I have 0 apologies)

Five things on this BEAUTIFUL Friday.

ONE // FIREWORKS

I LOVE fireworks. Oh. AND I love Camp Arnold. and last night there were fireworks AT CAMP ARNOLD. William and I snuck down the road to watch fireworks light up the sky over the lake at camp. Fireworks are like glitter in the sky so HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE THEM?? I can’t wait to go back to Disneyland and see their fireworks again. They have THE BEST fireworks!

I LOVE the Storyline Blog. It’s founded by Donald Miller (the guy that wrote Blue Like Jazz) and it’s full of blog posts from a variety of really cool authors all devoted to helping us live awesome stories with our lives. This post about what steps of faith really look like has been my favorite Storyline Blog read in awhile. It’s SO GOOD.

 

FOUR // WHEN PEOPLE KNOW YOU

Last week, a video of a baby elephant chasing birds went around the internet. It showed up on my Facebook timeline multiple times. Today I’ve already had my attention drawn to the glitter donuts on instagram twice. My friends know me. They see something about sparkling on or cute baby elephants or whatever and they go “STEPHANIE!” and not only do they think of me but they make sure I see it. and that is one of my most favorite things in the world. What are things that make people think of you? For me it’s baby elephants, glitter/sparkle, and probably Justin Bieber.

 

FIVE // LUCY + LAYLA’S DEBUT

I write about Ernie a lot. He’s the husband of my most favorite Kristen (WHO JUST REACTIVATED HER FACEBOOK ACCOUNT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALMOST TWO YEARS – YES I CRIED) and the father of my most favorite twins. Well. He’s also a musician. And he did this AWESOME Kickstarter where he made an acoustic album of 90s R&B jams. The girls sang on the song “This is How We Do It” (the cute is ENDLESS, I’m telling you).  There was a Kickstarter release show… and the girls went onstage to sing.

AND THERE IS A VIDEO!

Last night I face timed with Lucy + Layla and they said they LOVED singing on stage and want to do it again. I’d pay to see that show… what do you think?
