Friday – Five of Fifty

  • 26. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
Lose all of my old ones. I know that I have some great memories that I’d be sad to never remember (would I realize that I couldn’t remember them?) but to know I will never make new ones… man, even just thinking about it makes me feel hopeless.
  • 27. Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
Depends on the definition of “know.” I think it’s possible to believe truth without challenging it, but to know anything requires some form of conflict, right? Some wrestling with doubts to assure yourself it’s true.
  • 28. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
My greatest fear is spending the last few days of my life all alone. So no.
  • 29. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now?
What year was that… 2008? Yes. Oh yes, undoubtedly. It doesn’t matter now, but I was definitely justified in being so upset…
  • 30. What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special?
Get ready for morbid. But off the top of my head, my happiest childhood memory was when I got to stay up all night to listen to the live broadcast of the execution of a local serial killer. I cheered and then was told it was bedtime.

FELLOW THREADS debuted their summer line, Roadtripping, on May 30th (my birthday!!!) and I love pretty much every single piece of it. My first purchase (because there will be a few more by the end of the summer…) was this shirt:

“Life is either a great adventure or nothing.”

Fellow Threads just gets it.
