A year or so ago I was added to some LuLaRoe group with a bazillion members and always got really annoying notifications and it was like those monsters where you cut off one head and two reappear – no matter how many times I left LuLaRoe groups, I KEPT GETTING ADDED TO THEM. LOL UGH WHAT.
But then my friend Denise sent me a message that she was becoming a LuLaRoe consultant and I was intrigued because I admire Denise so much! She started sharing more about her journey with LuLaRoe with me and I kind of fell in love. Donald Miller once said that a great way to fall in love with something is to watch someone else love it, and that’s what happened – and QUICKLY! I won my first pair of LuLaRoe leggings from her and they are so comfy.
What I really like about LuLaRoe is their business model – the consultants aren’t necessarily competing with each other because each consultant gets such a different and unique shipment of patterns. You don’t have to exclusively use one consultant, because they might not ever get the patterns you’re looking for. I love that model! It creates such a spirit of community and cheering each other on.
When Denise had her first pop up, I KNEW I had to go – plus I really wanted to try on all of the clothes I kept seeing in pictures!
I LOVED how much it really felt like I was at a little boutique! Denise did such a great job with labelling the different styles, organizing them by size (with little size markers!). She even made a handy dandy size tracker, because the different styles fit so differently! The leggings were rolled and organized into little baskets which was so cute!
Ultimately I decided that I wanted to wait until there were brighter colors in my size, since I’d be more likely to wear those. GREAT NEWS, THOUGH!! Since then, Denise has gotten TONS more inventory, INCLUDING VALENTINE’S DAY PRINTS!!! ALERT ALERT ALERT!!!! VALENTINE’S DAY PRINTS!!!!
I decided that I wanted to host a LuLaRoe popup… but online, so all of my friends can go! It’s SO SIMPLE. In two weeks, on Tuesday, February 7th, I’ll be hosting an online LuLaRoe popup! You’re invited to join the event, which will start at 6:30 PST. We’ll have a Facebook Live video (of yours truly and Denise!) showing you all of the great inventory that’s for sale. The inventory will be up for 24 hours after we go live so you’ll have some time to shop even if  you can’t stay up for the whole thing 😀
Check out and RSVP to the event here. I can’t wait to see y’all there!
ps join Denise’s LuLaRoe group to learn more about LuLaRoe! Tell her I sent you ;D
Have you heard of LuLaRoe?! Do you own any LLR clothing?
Wait I was in the same LLR-FB-group-leaving boat! And then I saw you were hosting a pop up and I had that exact reaction….”I love Stephanie and if she’s doing it I will have to check it out” haha
i know. you will. my friend denise is really great, and she was really transparent about the business model and stuff, which made me really like them. it’s still a little pricey, but i decided that if i wasn’t trying to SELL people things, and just let people decide if they wanted them, then whatever. i won a pair of leggings from denise when she first started and they’re actually really nice. 🙂
I really want to buy some LLR clothes but I can’t justify spending money on them right now! My work’s dress code is SUPER strict (black, white, and plain blue tops and black or khaki pants) so I would hardly get to wear them!
girl – you should join ALLLL the LLR groups and then only enter their giveaways ahaha. when my friend denise started hers, i was pretty adamant on ALL the giveaway posts that i really wanted to win a pair of leggings. i’d never purchased ANYTHING from LLR before, and i was pretty stoked when i won a pair! the design isn’t one i love, but it was great to be able to try them without paying. that way if you won a pattern you couldn’t wear at work it wouldn’t really matter bc you could wear them at home! ;D just saying ;D
How fun! And crazy timing. I literally JUST heard about LLR a few days ago from one of my coworkers.
you should come to the popup! once i told my boyfriend about it, he’s started talking about how he’s heard about it EVERYWHERE. weird 🙂
