FIVE on FRIDAY

uncategorized

five on friday // stephanieorefhice.netAw yeah, Friday.

Cool things cool things today.

ONE // PUMPKIN SPICE EVERYTHING

Okay, let me tell you what happened to me yesterday. I was at Target. More specifically, I was in the Starbucks at Target. And there was a girl who came after me, asking if she should get a salted caramel mocha or a pumpkin spice latte because… wait for it.. SHE HAD NEVER HAD ONE. I mean, I don’t love them, but I definitely have had one.

I definitely said “hold on. You’re  a white girl… and you’ve never had a PSL? Are you wearing leggings?”

She wasn’t.

So I told her she should come back in leggings and THEN buy a PSL. She bought the mocha.

But let me be real. Right now I’m literally drinking pumpkin pie coffee with pumpkin spice creamer. I am that girl.

TWO // FALL SCENTS

So yesterday at Target. I went to Target specifically to buy ONE CANDLE. Autumn Harvest. I bought it last year and a few months ago found one with a little more to burn and was so excited to buy a new one. They had a whole bunch of fall scents. And then I saw this candle.

It. smells. so. freaking. good.

I mean… I am keeping it by my bed without the lid on so I can smell it when I go to sleep. Seriously SO FREAKING GOOOOOOOOD.

and it’s called SNUGGLY SWEATER! Ahhhh I can’t. Happy fall. <3

THREE // SALLY HANSEN AIRBRUSH LEGS

I normally swear by my Jergens BB Body Cream in the summer. It smoothes out the tone of your legs and moisturizes them and I love it.

BUT.

I received a trial size of the Sally Hansen Airbrush legs, and it is AMAZING. It’s like makeup for your legs, without that sounding super weird. It’s definitely not a lotion, as its purpose is really evening out the color of your legs. I’m sad that I found it at the END of the summer, but I’m so glad to have at least found it ever. Next summer it is going to be my go-to staple.

FOUR // #MAY30

#may30 // stephanieorefice.net

I was looking through my phone and I saw these two pictures from Lummi (I’ll post about it next week!) and they CRACKED ME UP. Also, why can’t I have red hair? So many people I love have red hair and I think it is the coolest. Once I did accidentally dye my hair kinda red, but it went away.

Well. I’m going to go to Bath & Body Works and buy some pumpkin hand soap because Target didn’t have any and I’m 0% kidding. If you need to find me after that I’ll be sleeping in a pumpkin patch under a big flannel blanket or something, because I’m turning into THAT girl.

  1. Um excuse me how did you do that on Polyvore?! I guess those pictures have backgrounds so that’s probably why. You didn’t add the numbers and text in Polyvore, right? My collage skills are lacking. Haha. I love those initial necklaces and I want that candle! Also I’m tempted to get a salted caramel mocha or salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks but I had it a few years ago and it was super intense and now I’m scared. Phew. Glad I got that off my chest. 🙂

    1. whaaaat!!! i TOTALLY did the whole thing in polyvore!!! breenah is a pro so i asked her to do a guest post on it since so many people (like me) are completely behind on the polyvore times.

      GO SMELL THE CANDLE ASAP.

and you can get the salted caramel mocha with less pumps of mocha or less of the caramel or whatever!! i tend to HATE starbucks mochas but they’re doable if i ask for half the pumps of mocha. do you have a starbucks gold card? if so, use your free one to try it once you get a free one ;D

  2. wait….polyvore isn’t a clothing site? it’s a collage site? (genuine confusion. sorry.) and also, your red hair is AWESOME! i dyed mine “blonde” in 10th grade which, since my hair is so dark, is code for “gross orange.” whoops. not sure i can handle all this #typicalwhitegirl pumpkin spice love. please tell me you still would laugh at church curmudgeon tweets and still would listen to obscure artists like allen stone…. 😉

    1. hahaha yes polyvore is a collage site. but it’s REALLY COOL – i just installed the polyvore button, so i can add ANYTHING to my collection to use for a collage. i only just discovered that and it’s SO HELPFUL. i always wondered how people seemed to make collages so easy without photoshop… and now i get it.

i was attempting to dye my hair blonde when it went red! haha. i had to get it fixed professionally, and now i haven’t dyed my hair since. that’s my all-natural ombre i have going on, lol. do you have any pictures from that time???

haha well today i started whole 30 sooooo… i threw away what was left of my pumpkin spice creamer. :/ and yeah i’m still all about obscure artists and socalitybarbie ;D haha.

  3. Can I just say I love you with the red hair? Also, I’m shocked at the lack of knowledge of Polyvore (between you and the two commenters before me). I’ve been using it for YEARS.

    1. can’t wait for you to teach everyone about polyvore!!! <3
maybe once i get my hair situation under control (i'm growing out the last dye job.. it's almost gone!) i'll try to dye it red again and be a fake ginger. make my dreams come true on a small scale, haha. <3

    1. wait like a pumpkin spice latte or anything?? or just literally pumpkin spice latte? i like to get a pumpkin spice iced coffee with cream from starbucks. i call it a poor man’s iced PSL. you should try it!

  4. Your skills on Polyvore are epic.

Also. Pumpkin everything? YES. Although, I haven’t had a single one yet. 🙁 On Friday, I went to Wally World and bought SO MANY pumpkin scented candles and wax cubes for my melty-thingy! The house smells like magic.

    1. dude i’m just getting ready to take over the world haha.
oh my gossshhhh i bet your house smells so COZY!!!!
you gotta get on the pumpkin bandwagon! this is the first year i’m all about it so i’m like trying to drag everyone down with me lol.

  5. 1. My first drink from Starbucks was a PSL. While I have other favorite, this latte will always hold a special place in my heart.
    2. Marshals also has great, inexpensive candles.
    3. I bought 3 pumpkins, 8 small gourds, a huge mum, and an apple bushel basket for the mums this weekend because #fall.

    1. awwww that is seriously so cute about the psl. like it made my heart so happy. my first drink was a caramel macchiato and i HAAATED it… because i’d never had coffee! haha.
&& i haven’t yet scoped out the marshalls candles! though it has crossed my mind a time or two. but i’m okay for now… trying to watch my dollars, lol.
AND FALLLL!!!!!! that sounds so fall-y. i love it.
