2014, week 14. -

And now we enter into two weeks where I did not do a great job of taking a picture every day. GRACE. In years past, I’ve given up completely on the picture a day thing because I forgot a day or two, and I’ve already missed a handful of days and yet I am keeping on keeping on.

day 90. bus ride.
I sat in the back of the bus when we dropped the kids off, and it was the best decision I’ve made in awhile.

Day 91. Tyrone Wells
Helped out at the Tyrone Wells merch table. I am a complete idiot and drove to the wrong venue before I realized my mistake. I really love Tyrone Wells so it was an honor to help him. At one point in my life, I went to at least one show every week, sometimes more. And every so often I really miss living life that way.

Day 93. MGG
Okay so Criminal Minds is like my favorite show of all time. Matthew Gray Gubler is like my favorite actor of all time. So when my DVR didn’t record the episode of Criminal Minds THAT HE DIRECTED… I was so sad that I would have to wait for it to show up online. I only had to wait a day. I painted my nails, put on my sparkly, cozy slippers, poured myself a homemade mocha and cut off a piece of my dad’s first attempt at coffee cake (it was delicious by the way). The episode was SO CREEPY. and SO GOOD. Matthew Gray Gubler is brilliant.

Day 94. Changes
Two years ago I found this big old ugly frame at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and my dad helped me paint it pink. I strung some wire, attached some decorated clothespins and made myself this big display of pictures. I wrote all about it here.

I’ve spent the past half of a year working on simplifying my life, trying to get rid of the clutter that is all around me {as I write this there’s a massive pile of cds and paper in the corner of my room, so don’t think I’ve got it all down} and I realized that the frame was cluttered. The pattern on the clothespins were busy, there were pictures upon pictures, hiding things… and the pictures were years old.

So I took down the big frame and decided it was time to make some changes to it. I’m still waiting to get some new pictures printed, so this is just the before.
