Guess what I’m attempting again.
If you guessed the 365 project, you’re right.
I started it last summer… right as my old computer started crapping out.
Eventually I had all of pictures on my computer, plus a list of what pictures I’d taken when.
Then I got a new computer and decided screw this all.
What is the point of 365?
Taking a picture every day.
Like a picture Rememory Book, if you will.
Do you want to know something funny?
I already missed a day. Saturday the fourth. I was too busy loving the day to take a picture.
But I’m learning grace. Every day, a little bit more grace.
Days 1 & 2 were included in yesterday’s post of pictures.
Day 3. Mars.
Rhoda and I went to the Justin Bieber movie (my second time!) but before we did that, we went to Mars.
Day 4. The Day I Loved.
We went to Jim & Patty’s and wrote encouraging post its to leave around. Then we went to Camp Kuratli and got the grand tour from Michael. We all drove to the Masango’s house, where we had an evening of praise and prayer and people. It was just what was needed.
Day 5. Goodbyes & Hellos
My weekend with Rhoda ended at the train station and I cried on the way home because just having her near me makes me a better person. Then I got to spend time with Ellie & sweet Elicia. How precious is she? and she loved my sequins shoes.
Day 6. Right now.
Which brings me to this very moment, and my first 52 Lists List. Anna, whose blog I absolutely adore, posted about the 52 Lists – one list every week. I have a cup of tea and as soon as I schedule this post, I’m going to run upstairs and crawl into bed and read until I fall asleep.
Taking a picture a day sounds like fun… but I’m not sure what I’d take pictures of. It would probably be a lot of pictures of my dogs lying on the couch!
haha that’s what i thought, but I found that when I’ve done it in the past (i’ve made it all the way to august!) it forces me to look at things a little differently. I was like… ANOTHER PICTURE OF MY COFFEE? lol 😉
I did it before & loved looking back… now, I’m trying it on my phone, but I also take pictures with my camera – so its just confusing how to put it all together.
oh my gosh, that is what kills it for me every time. in my head, i want it to be with my camera only… but if i am lazy or forgetful i’ll justify pictures from my phone, but then it gets all confusing!!! i printed out a calendar and am writing the pictures on each day as i go, so hopefully that’ll help me organize them. let me know how it goes for you.
I’m going to take a cue what I did with Instagram this year… send them to Shutterfly & make a book with my Instagram pictures – try to do it weekly to keep them up to date & in order.
I love these 365 day projects!!! Your pictures are great!
