A few weekends ago, my friends and IÂ drove to the beach on a Saturday.
On the way, we pulled over and adventured over to a river we’d seen from the highway.
We stopped at the Tillamook Cheese Factory, where I threw my dairy caution to the wind and ate handfuls of smoked cheddar cheese samples.
We walked around the farmer’s market and left with jars of local creamed honey (thanks, Leon!!).
In Seaside we bought bags full of every flavor of salt water taffy you could ever imagine and I spent a long time standing in the ocean.
As we drove home, we ate lunch at a little restaurant that overlooked the ocean.
All the while we laughed and sang and had heated discussions about things that really matter.
Oh and this post is about to have a crapload of pictures.
Ooo!!! Sounds like fun!!! 🙂
it was. even if certain other people i’d hoped could come… didn’t make it. sigh.
Yeah, you win some you lose some. 😉
Oh man. These photos just made me homesick for Oregon!
isn’t it weird how the TREES just look so different? i remember driving to ernie’s house the first time and being like… i mean i’m used to trees but these aren’t the same!
