#1. Fellow Threads
Previously Pelican Merch. They’ve got super cool {almost too cool for me} clothes and a great heart. A portion of their proceeds go to helping organizations around the world. I have 3 shirts, a sweatshirt and another shirt on the way. Every time they roll out a new collection, I will be eagerly awaiting the new reveal and figure out which shirts I will be getting and pretending I’m cool enough to wear.
#2. Marks on My Heart
Sometimes we get caught up in the need to make BIG changes in the world, thinking that our talents need to be glamorous, our resources endless and our time open. But Shelly is proving that wrong. She sells lovely handmade items and gives 25% of the total sales to a different charity each month. For April her charity was The Salvation Army Moore Street Corps & Community Center – my church! Thanks to her talent and her generosity, she is making a difference all around the world. One bookmark at a time.
