Two days ago I definitely screwed up August’s debt repayment.
I was impulsive.  I made a $356 charge to my credit card. and I have 0 regrets.
Because in two weeks from this moment, I’ll be in NASHVILLE. With my most favorite little twins ever. My 6th Nashville trip… it’s a little bit like going home, you know? Everything about that family feels like home.
We’re going to go on a road trip to Georgia (I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO GEORGIA AND I WAS SO EXCITED I ALMOST CRIED) and we’re going to watch Bachelor in Paradise together… and I am going to see those precious faces every single morning and I will get to actually talk to Kristen + Ernie (something that never happens when we FaceTime). I’ll get to kiss those girls foreheads goodnight, and I’ll get to snuggle up next to Layla on the couch and talk to Lucy about her best friend Taylor Swift (if they’re still close).
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to plan this last minute vacation.
In case you’re new to these parts and want to get caught up on these two…
- Nashville, Part 1
- Nashville, Part 3
- Leftover Nashville
- Nashville, Part 4

- When I’m With You….
What are YOU looking forward to?
so much fun!!!! sometimes a little bit of debt is worth it!!! 🙂
also, what part of Georgia are you going to? GA is right next to SC… just sayin! 🙂
we’re going to atlanta. i have no idea about the geography of that area. last year my friends were like “we’re going to kentucky!!” and i was SO EXCITED for a road trip and we were there in like 20 minutes. i was like… wowwww disappointing haha
My dad used to live near Atlanta and I loved visiting. I haven’t ever been to Nashville and I’ve only ever stopped over in Memphis, but Tennessee seems like it’d be fun. Especially with those cuties!
nashville is SO GREAT. the city and then the whole “nashville” experience – which is built around people who don’t actually live in nashville haha. i’m SO EXCITED to see pieces of atlanta! 🙂
So excited for you! Can’t wait to hear all about it!!! And it’s definitely worth the splurge. 🙂
YAY!! i felt so, too. we spent hours trying to get the most affordable option, and we found it. now that i’ve paid off my dental credit, paying off this trip won’t take too long, which i’m so grateful for!
Nashville is an awesome city! I am looking forward to cooler weather. It’s too hot…lol
haha yes it is pretty hot!!!!… except today here in washington it’s really rainy and thunderstormy… a nice break from the heat! <3
Nashville is so awesome! It’s on my list of places to take my poor, travel depraved husband. 😀 I hope you have so much fun!!!
bahahahaha. nashville is so awesome!!! hopefully you and your husband can make it there soon!! ;D
Sometimes you just have to splurge! So excited for you/your trip! Nashville + GA are so fun, you’re going to love it!
yeah! and it wasn’t a splurge that would put me SERIOUSLY behind, so as long as i pay it off by the end of august, i’m okay with it. my heart definitely needs to be with my favorite people, and you cannot put a price on that! <3
