Tropical Green Smoothie with Del Monte PureEarth Fruit Juice

This post is sponsored by Del Monte PureEarth Juice but any and all opinions are my own.

Yesterday it was kinda gloomy and I posted this picture from last Friday on Instagram.

So this morning when I woke up and the sun was shining all over the place, I ALMOST STARTED CRYING. It is SO BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE!

and as soon as my feet hit the floor I knew what I was having for breakfast.

Something about sunny 45 degree weather makes me feel like I am living in a tropical paradise or something, so I excitedly grabbed the Del Monte PureEarth juice I have been DYING to try – Pineapple banana coconut. Because you know what I love? Freaking pineapples and freaking bananas and freaking coconut.

I’m not really good at recipes. I’m a little YOLO and I just like to put in however much I feel like putting in. This is what I got:

A handful of baby spinach, a cup-ish of frozen pineapple, a banana and a cup-ish of shredded coconut. and of course the Del Monte PureEarth Juice.

Put everything in a blender.

Unapologetically take a swig of it on its own because PINEAPPLE BANANA COCONUT, HOW COULD YOU RESIST?

Pour into a glass (I always pour my smoothies over ice, is that weird? I have a fear of room temperature smoothies, so then I’m always drinking cold parts. Maybe I’m weird) and garnish (my fancy word for the day) with more shredded coconut. Really you can never go wrong with shredded coconut. It’s like edible glitter, kinda.

Del Monte has given me a coupon for $1 off any of their PureEarth juices, and it’s TOTALLY worth it! I’m loving putting them in stuff. I used the pineapple juice to top off my pineapple whip. My friend Jessica made homemade frozen yogurt with the same stuff. So good to have in your fridge.

Excuse me while I go put on some flip flops and shorts and apply some sunscreen because this 45 degree weather means summer is on its way 🙂
