My everyday beauty routine
I never imagined I’d be one of those girls with a beauty routine that involved more than washing my  hands after I pee. Growing up I considered Bonne Bell’s glitter gel to be the only beauty product I needed.
But here I am, 31 years old. I watch The Bachelorette and have a beauty routine so I guess I am a grown woman, like officially.
Here are the products I am currently using on the daily in my everyday beauty routine.

If you’ve followed my empties posts for awhile, you’ll know thatI SWEAR BY Dr. Jart+ BB Cream. and then I fell in love with Root Pretty, and I decided to try their Pretty Booster which appeared to be similar to a BB Cream. It is WONDERFUL – so smooth and really great coverage. Plus that packaging, amiright?!
stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara {here}
I LOVE the jet black color of this mascara. Until I started using this mascara, I never realized that there’s a difference in shades of black. This mascara does have a downside, though. I HATE the wand. I find that the mascara applies really clumpy. But then.. I had this brilliant idea. Keep reading.
Covergirl Plumpify blastPRO {here}
I received the CoverGirl Plumpify mascara from Influenster and LOVED it. Now, I apply a base coat of the stila mascara and then use the Covergirl mascara as a second top coat, because I LOVE the wand. It lengthens and spreads out my lashes, which already have the mascara I love on them. It’s a brilliant system.
The Body Shop eyeshadow in Champagne & Gold {here}
So I’m the idiot who always gets sucked into promotions at stores. I don’t even remember this particular promotion, but I went to The Body Shop to buy some banana shampoo and ended up needing to select one more free product. I quickly grabbed this eyeshadow, which I have begun to love. It sometimes appears a little too yellow for me, but when I get just the right amount on my lids… it’s awesome.
Almay Smart Shade in Pink {here}
Okay so I’ll go ahead and admit that I literally know nothing about the whole highlight and contouring thing. I put on my Pretty Blender, Eyeshadow & mascara and then some pink blush. Is that like… really dumb of me? I love that this blush is really light – it gives me the opportunity to start soft and prevent the whole creepy doll look.

I received this in a Birchbox and almost lost my brain because I’d seen an ad for this and wanted SO BADLY to try it. Things I really suck at: highlighting/contouring AND BROWS. This stuff is brilliant because it’s a little brow with almost the tiniest shading and you can brush it on your brows to fill it in. It makes it look natural and helps protect you from screwing up your brows too much. We all know that brows make or break your face, amiright?
Stila Lip Glaze in Kitten {here}
I LOOOVE the kind of nude shade of this lip glaze. I’m not a big fan of lip color (I accidentally applied the wrong lip stick one day and FREAKED) so I love the glossy nude color of this one.
So there you have it. My everyday beauty routine! Side note: I have the whole thing down to a 6 minute routine. I made Justen time me 😉

ps I put the Vera Wang Princess perfume in there because it’s pretty. I’m currently trying to use up a different bottle of perfume but I cannot wait to start wearing Princess – I’ve been wanting it for so long!
