The weather in the Pacific Northwest has been so weird lately. It’s global warming, I swear. One sunny Saturday, we got up early and headed down to the Vancouver Farmer’s Market. We snacked on cherry vanilla almonds (so good, y’all) and tried some samples before picking up iced mochas at our favorite coffee shop, Compass Coffee.
When I was in 12th grade, I started wearing skirts. A few years later, I started wearing dresses. When I lived in California it was nothing but shorts, then I began wearing pants… and I’m starting my love affair with skirts all over again.
and just because I like to keep it real, just going to share with you some of my favorite not-so-awesome-but-still-really-awesome-pictures Justen took of me.
Top // LC Lauren Conrad (similar and similar LC one)
Skirt // LC Lauren Conrad (actual one and similar)
Shoes // BCBG (similar and similar)
Purse // Merona, a knockoff of this super cute Kate Spade one
Almond Milk Iced Mocha // Courtesy of Justen and Compass Coffee ;D
Immediately following these pictures, we spent a few hours wandering around the air-conditioned mall before heading to a gender reveal party for his brother and sister-in-law. They’re having a boy! I wished it was a girl so I could buy a lot of cute girl things, but now I walk around and lose it over the cute boy things (like this onesie and this cute little hipster outfit and this cute little summer outfit and this outfit and oh my gosh I’ll stop now). Afterwards we went to Famous Dave’s for dinner, and I had catfish for the first time in my life. It felt like a really big deal, since Catfish is my favorite TV show. Verdict: I’ll stick with the TV show.
Next time we go to the Farmer’s Market, I’m going to go home with a big basket of strawberries and a big bunch of flowers. I’m also going to indulge in a Nutella and Banana waffle from Hello Waffle because I stood there smelling and drooling at the waffles before ultimately walking away. But next time, you are mine nutella and banana waffle!
Can I also just say that I love honey sticks. I freaking LOVE honey sticks. Like I literally have been mentioning how much I love honey sticks for three years. It’s one of my favorite things to get at a Farmer’s Market because they’re cheap and small and DELICIOUS. And local honey is good for battling allergies. I never get allergies but I also always eat local honey sticks, soooo…. 🙂
Here’s to many more sunny Saturdays.
You hair your skin your skirt your whole outfit = fabulousness. You look amazing and sooo happy! I super love the pictures where you’re raising your eyebrows and the one where your eyes are closed (or maybe you’re just looking down).
Your hair looks so cute like that!!
So… You’re kinda cute.
You’re fantastic and adorable! I love how happy all of your posts are when you share stories about Justen! And, gotta love Farmers Markets. And Catfish!
Gah. I love your style. And these pictures are AWESOME. Also, farmer’s markets and little boy clothing–YES YES YES.
Okay, I have honestly never had a honey stick, don’t hate me! I will have to try one next time I come across one. I love skirts too, cute pattern on this one!
What a cute skirt! Honey sticks are good, too 🙂
