A few weeks ago I posted about how Mei-Ling and I went in search of pretty things. We started with Lower Latourell Falls. We chose to just do the lower portion so we could keep driving and exploring. A little while down the road is Bridal Veil Falls. It’s a beautiful little detour – neither Lower Latourell Falls nor Bridal Veil Falls really feels like a full, complete hike so pairing both of them together is a great quick, easy hike. Especially on a beautiful day, like the one we lucked out with.
We even saw a wedding photo shoot! I think it was a real wedding but after I told her that she looked beautiful I got insecure that maybe it was just for a website or something! Either way, she was beautiful.
I’m ready for another adventure day. Summer come quickly!
So pretty! I keep seeing bloggers posting hike photos and it makes me really want to take one!
dude!!! let’s go sometime this summer! you’re in the seattle area, right? have you ever been to wallace falls?
We should! Yes I am and no I haven’t been there! I just Googled it and it looks awesome!
AHHHH!!!! okay. i don’t know where sammy lives, but if you read upΓ’β¬Β¦ i said she should come too. i’m not sure where she’s located but i TOTALLY vote this happens this summer.
so gorgeous! and funny b/c we have a Bridal Veil falls near us…(where a scene in Hunger Games was filmed at Dupont) & at first i thought you were visiting down here π
oh manΓ’β¬Β¦ i’d never be near you and not tell you!!! you’d be the #1 person on my to tell list. π
that is an awesome waterfall, and it’s so fun to have an explorer buddy! i’m jealous of that #upperleftusa living π
come visitttt!!!!
i’m so excited for summer and lots of hiking. it’s so pretty and i feel so lucky to be able to have so many beautiful hikes within an easy drive! are there good hikes near you?
Yeah, it’s so awesome that they are SO close by! We have some cool stuff, but nothing too too scenic close to us. But we’ve gone camping in the PA “mountains” and there have been some pretty rivers and such!
hahah why is mountains in quotes? are they really just glorified hills or something?? ;D
Hahaha ummmmm they are parts of the ground that are higher than other parts of the ground. I’m not sure why we even use the same word that’s used to describe the Rockies and all your west-coaster mountains. Haha
BAHAHAHAHA “parts of the ground that are higher than other parts of the ground”Γ’β¬Β¦ i aaacccttuallllyy laughed out loud. enjoy your store brand version of mountains lol ;D
OH I WILL. A mole hill that overlooks the tops of a smattering of saplings is better than nothing, I always say.
So so pretty! I need to go on a hike soon, wish this was closer!
you’re in the northwest too, right? me and you and mattie should all (first get coffee and meet each other in real life and then) go hiking sometime!!!
I WANT TO GO HIKING!!! Stinkin baby who won’t let me. Someday I’ll be able to do this again.
i retain roughly 5% of what i read on the internet so next week please tell me about mother’s day in real life. <3

cheryl! – i agree COMPLETELY. being out in nature totally makes me feel close to God – i’m less distracted by things and so much more aware of him in everything.
Is this the Bridal Falls in NC or somewhere else? Thanks for joining us on Oh My Heartsie Girl Wordless Wednesday!
