Day 35. Make today count.
My daily reminder that I’ve only got one shot at each day.
Day 36. San Francisco.
In honor of getting ready to drive to San Francisco, my dad and I shared morning coffee out of my SF mugs.
Day 37. SNOW WAY.
….but unfortunately, as soon as I got in my car to drive to San Francisco, the snow started coming down. Like nonstop. So much snow. So much snow, in fact, that I had to turn around and come home and abort mission on my road trip to California. Luckily the Birks got me a plane ticket so I could still go, but have I ever mentioned how much I hate snow?
Day 38. My room.
So I woke up on another snow day and looked at my room and thought “man, I should take care of this mess…” but instead I laid in bed and watched Gossip Girl like ALL DAY LONG.
Day 39. Snow.
But then I figured…. you know, maybe I could like this snow stuff, since everyone talks about how great it is. I walked a circle around my front yard before deciding this snow still is awful and went back inside to my cozy bed and Gossip Girl.
Day 40. SAN FRANCISCO.
FINALLY I made it to San Francisco, escaping the snow I hate so much to be with a family I love a whole lot. I’ve known the Birks for 10 years and there used to be 3 of them living at home, but the last time I came there ewas only 2 and this time it was just myself and Lauren. I had never slept in this room. It was kind of weird.
Staying in bed watching GG all day is a way better choice than cleaning!
yes!!! so glad you agree – now i can finally stop feeling guilty about it, haha!
Have I ever told you that each time I catch a glimpse of that pink blanket in the background of a picture, I smile? It’s true. Thanks for making me smile today. 🙂
🙂 🙂 🙂 it is my favorite pink blanket OF ALL TIME
