lovely leah.

uncategorized

Okay, this is so belated. For Christmas, I signed up for a few blog swaps. That is how my life intersected with Leah‘s. As I read the e-mail where she described herself, I thought “….are you ME?” She loves glitter and sparkle and pink and oh my GOSH, do we speak the same language. We speak Glitter. It’s a real language. Once, Evan was trying to explain “horsepower” to me. I said “explain it in Glitter” and he said “horsepower is the number of unicorns it takes to carry a cart full of fairies.” and I got it. Glitter’s a language, people.

And we speak it. Look what she hooked me up with…

…I mean, COME ON. do you SEE all of that sparkle? I used the jingle bell ornament for my Christmas tree dress. It helped me jingle! You can see what I sent her right here.

So NATURALLY, as Valentine’s Day approached I felt like we should probably send each other some love. I mean, it’s all about the pink glitter on Valentine’s Day, right?

Please look at what Leah sent to me, because my heart melted and I wanted to fly across the country and hug her.

Look. at. those. elephants! <3

One of the things I love the most about where I’m at in life is that I have the opportunity to get to know and be even the smallest parts of the lives of so many people. As Valentine’s Day approaches, keep this at the forefront of your mind. Look around and love the people who your arms stretch out and reach, even if you can barely brush them with their fingertips.
