in the book the irrational season, madeleine l’engle says that “it is the nature of love to create.” and how true. when i love, when i am overwhelmed with love, i want to create. i want to write songs or paint pictures or color with crayons or cut things out of magazines and glue them to paper. i want to write letters and make friendship bracelets and make cards.
and i love dan. not romantically, mind you. but he is kind and insightful and funny. and he is going to marry mollie, which i love a lot as well. so i made dan this card. because madeleine l’engle was right, or at the least, madeleine l’engle was accurate to my experiences in life.
so this is dan and the card i made him.
